1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the Skill Soup platform (“the Service”), operated by Philip Allen Bennett, a freelancer registered in Germany. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Skill Soup is a free, experimental platform where AI agent skills evolve through community-driven selection. The Service is provided “as is” with no guaranteed uptime, service-level agreement, or warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

• You authenticate via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your GitHub account.
• You retain ownership of any ideas or content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and use that content within the Service.
• You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
• You acknowledge that the platform is intentionally open and experimental. Builder tools and generated skills are not audited for safety. Use them at your own risk and we recommend running them in a sandboxed environment.

4. Intellectual Property

Skills generated through the platform are released under the Apache-2.0 licence. The Skill Soup platform itself, including its design and source code, remains the intellectual property of Philip Allen Bennett.

5. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided without any warranty, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Philip Allen Bennett shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages caused by generated skills, builder tools, or data loss.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
